I would very much like to be able to use a before and after image slider on my site.
There are a variety of plugins that offer such functionality, but does anyone know of one that works well with the newspaper theme?
I’ve tried Twenty20 and BEAF with limited success and would appreciate any recommendations on how to achieve such an effect.

Unfortunately, there is no tested plugin with our theme with this functionality.
You can test/use which one is suitable for your needs, but please take care for a future plugin conflict.

That’s a shame, Bettina. Please do add this suggestion to the wishlist for the next Newspaper release.
My understanding is that Revolution Slider is included as part of the Newspaper licence. It could probably do what I’m looking for, but seems overkill for just a simple image slider.

I mean both the 2 plugins are not compatible with our theme, because they are not tested, but you can use it if there is no plugin conflict.
