Hello! I’m new to the Newspaper theme [all great so far!] and I’m hoping you can give me some advice/direction on this. My client has a very old version of the Newspaper theme on their current site [v. 4.6.3] and we recently purchased licensing with a new account since the old developer is no longer working for them.
I’ve been working with the updated theme on a dev site to familiarize myself with the theme, change the settings, and update a few existing pages. Because my client’s site is very heavily trafficked, they don’t want the live site taken down at all. Given that, I’m hoping you can tell what the best practice would be in this situation with regard to installing the new theme on the live site and also the best way, if possible, to import a few updated pages from the dev site to the live site so I don’t have to rebuild everything from scratch. Hello! Thanks for your response. I’m familiar with that tutorial and am comfortable installing the new theme on the old site. The more important question I have is that I know it’s possible to import the theme settings to the new site, but is it possible to import specific pages from the dev site into the updated site? It’s not an option for me to migrate/duplicate the dev site and load to the updated site because of site activity. Thanks!

You can migrate your website (but you do not want to do this) or you can copy the cloud template content or page/post content and paste it in the other website, just make sure that you set the content in the same type of cloud https://i.imgur.com/i8EwdQH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/4WgImzJ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/xNRtnt5.png

Thank you — this is really helpful! That leads me to another issue. The Cloud Templates library on the dashboard doesn’t have any templates listed in it; I can access and import from the composer but nothing gets saved to the library. In troubleshooting, I have checked for a plugin conflict by deactivating all plugins except the tagDiv ones, cleared browser cache and cookies, and have confirmed all the requirements/versions for WP, theme, php.ini, mySql, and php but still nothing appears. What would you suggest I do to further troubleshoot and fix? Thanks, again!
