Hey,
is it possible to block content after a certain amount of words has been read? I want my blog posts to look like this post on Medium where after a few paragraphs one cant read without registration / login.
https://medium.com/@christhaefner/how-to-access-and-use-metas-new-app-threads-in-europe-a1fa864d806c
Is there a way how I can implement this feature quickly using the tagdiv composer? I do NOT want to hide the whole content behind the registration wall.
Thanks!
Dimitri
Hello Dimitri!
Yes. You can use a locker and add it after how many words you want. In order to create a new locker, follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/
Thank you!
Hello Bettina!
Thanks for your hint but it looks like I can’t allow access to registered users, right?
I simply want to offer my content only for users that created an account with the help of a membership plugin (and are now listed as users in wordpress).
With the function that you have provided I can only allow the access to leads generated with Newspaper theme, right?
Best
Dimitri

Hello Dimitri!
Check this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-opt-in-builder-paywallsubscription-a-how-to-guide/
Thank you!
Hey,
I think you got me wrong.
I do not want to collect email subscribers.
I want to preserve my content for registered WP users only. They have already an account and can login to the site. How can I achieve this using the locker plugin?
Also is there a way to enable the function “show locker after first 100 words” for a whole single bost template (and not for each post manually?)

Hello Dimitri!
Create a free/paid subscription plan and integrate a locker.
“Also is there a way to enable the function “show locker after first 100 words” for a whole single bost template (and not for each post manually?)” you can do this manually only, sorry.
Thank you!
This does not answer my first question. I did this and then I logged in with a test user account and even though I was logged in as a wordpress user, it says “This content is only for subscribers”.
So how do I enable content for logged in wordpress users NOT subscribers?
