I would like to know is there a way that when you set up the post that show in block that it can be set up buy selecting posts and not categories or tags.
Also how does the post type filtering work?

The theme blocks were build to retrieve posts filtered by Categories, Tags, Authors and Post Types that you want to show on the Block and the order they will show up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
