Breadcrumbs taxonomy for standard posts

I really like being able to use a custom taxonomy for breadcrumbs on a CPT, is there a way to also do this for regular posts?

Is there a hook I can catch onto to override the default breadcrumbs for that post if there is no built-in way to do it?

Hey,

Theme Panel -> CPT & Taxonomy -> Post Type -> Breadcrumbs Taxonomy

This setting lets me change the taxonomy for a custom post type. I like this and want to also change the breadcrumb taxonomy for the standard post type

If it is not possible for me to select a taxonomy other than the default category as the taxonomy for breadcrumbs on the default post type, is there a hook in the theme that will allow me to override breadcrumbs to get custom breadcrumbs?
