Broken theme after update Help!

Hi,

I just updated to Newspaper 6 and my site is not displaying correctly. My slider and widgets are now missing, all text blocks are gone as well as footer set up. Can you please help?

Hi,

You will have to run the import script like it is specified in upgrade guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

The import script does the following operations:

  • Imports the old settings to the new theme
    Renames all the shortcodes from your pages to the new names
    Imports all the sidebars
    Renames all the widgets from the sidebars to the new names

    • And also please update the plugins that come with the theme files, just deactivate and delete the old version and install it from here – http://screencast.com/t/iPymNOzGKMWz Please note that you will have to re-add the widgets to your sidebars, as they will become inactive and also some of them(widgets or pagebuider elements) doesn’t exist anymore.
