Good Morning,
Firstly congratulations on the theme, it’s amazing, had long been looking for something similar. I write for several doubts or problems (sorry for my english):
1. When I load the page appears to me as the web in text mode (better to see the pictures). I have enabled the Speed Boster (I have not installed the W3 Total Cache plugin or another similar, and most plugins have deactivated). Add Boster Speed settings. I simply put the configuration of the demo theme.
2. On the iPhone, in principle, no such thing happens in 1. But when I go to PageSpeed same appears and paragraph Desktop says that an error has occurred; https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oncanarias.es%2F (oncanarias.es is a demo domain, the host is 1and). Thank you very much,
Miguel
Hi,
1. This delay on loading the style usually happens when using speed booster plugin as the style and js is moved to the footer. We will investigate this and hopefully we can provide a solution soon.
2. I have added your site to the page speed test and haven’t found any errors: http://screencast.com/t/fkhhm73Gxunf according to it you have to optimize images and also prioritize visible content.
You can find more info about how to get higher page speed score throughout this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/
Thanks
Thanks for the reply.
1.- I disabled the plugin Speed Buster and reload the page now the problem is solved. It is not solved when I calibrate the speed of PageSpeed page. I attached screenshots:

Anyway, how much time estimate to fix it with update? I have thought about publishing the web on Monday.
2.- Another question: I’m testing the theme in http://www.oncanarias.es but it will be hosted on another site (it is a web of daily information and can not test). Is there a problem with the license? I read that you can only use a domain. How could notice in which domain I will use real way?
3.- And the last question, on the other server we have activated the ‘op cache’ in a Ngix server, I read that could have problems with the theme. What kind of problems?
Thank you,
Miguel
Op cache should work fine. We’re using APC cache on our Apache/CentOS server. Basically it’s server side object caching. This helps speed up any site, nothing to do with the theme. You would also need to check gzip/deflate settings, expiration headers, image optimization/compression, etc. for things to speed up your site overall. 🙂
Hi guys,
I just tried to update the theme through Filezilla and it messed up the whole site.
All the colors disappeared, some widgets were moved down, etc.
I put back the old theme files and it’s fine now.
What’s the issue? Would it be safer to update via the Envato plugin?
Thanks!
Well, this is a NEW theme, on version 1.0 … it is not an update to Newspaper. So you need to treat as changing to different theme, unless I totally misunderstood what you were saying there 🙂
So,
1) switch to default WP theme
2) turn off all plugins; delete ALL plugins used for Newspaper theme
and delete any prior issue of Visual Composer – completely
3) clear cache, update CDN if needed
4) install theme
5) install plugins
6) activate new visual composer with all other plugins OFF
7) activate theme from wordpress > appearance
So, you need to install the theme then activate the new theme following the theme docs.

Any response to questions 1 and 2?
