Building with Tagdiv – Worst Composer Ever!

Hi

Is there another way to build pages besides TagDiv – as it is one of the worst page builders out there. It makes editing & building pages extremely slow. It is not fully compatible with Chrome and it has serious bugs. You also don’t have any proper documentation on it (besides a 3min video)!

The sidebar for editing the page also isn’t wide enough so it’s impossible to see what you’re editing half the time!

Please let me know if there are any other alternatives or if I can still use Visual Composer.

Thanks

You can still use visual composer; TD Composer is a new “just out of beta” alternative which is more compact, more secure, uses much less system resources, and won’t crash servers like VC does. Works great for us, in Chrome, but since it’s ajax based it does take a little finesse to use, just like VC has learning curve.

For a brand new product built specifically for these themes, it’s pretty amazing stuff.

(( I don’t work here. ))

Hello,

Thank you Chris.

@kfx
if you do not like our approach to the new page builder, you can simply deactivate it and use VC as before. The tagdiv composer can be deactivated at any time from the plugins section.
Here is the documentation you needed though: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
And the block settings guide to go with it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

Thanks.

Hi Bogdan, the new release 8.1 will support Visual Composer 5.2?

Hello,

Yes we do plan on including the latest version of visual composer into the next update.

Thanks.
