you say to change colours do this :
In Newspaper > Theme Panel > Theme Color you have 4 area to manage colors for your website:
General theme colors – Set or change colors for Theme accent (hover, links, buttons, Ajax load animation color) and Background.
and all i get is :
THEME ACCENT COLOR
Select theme accent color
BACKGROUND COLOR
Select theme background color
HEADERS BACKGROUND COLOR
Select a global header background color
HEADERS TEXT COLOR
Select a global header text color
why cant i see buttons, links etc?
where exactly are the instructions for assigning a simple button – all i get is a little black square.

If you refer to a custom button(shortcode) added in a post content, you can use these colors for it(Visual Composer colors for button) – http://screencast.com/t/ET94A67p

Hi,
I am using Newspaper theme version 8.0 and follow the instructions exactly, and even trying to use the default colour of blue it does nothing. The links just stay black.
Is this a typical problem?

Links in post content will still inherit the general theme accent color.
Please correct me if I misunderstand the issue, and provide more details for a more accurate solution.
