What cache plugin do you use? also if you are using more cache plugin make sure that is not one of theme that is causing the problem.
Usually using WP Super cache as in our guide from here everything should work correctly -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

I don’t use a separate caching-plugin because I have a serverside cache and another plugin would cause problems.

Hello !
We suggest to remove the server side cache and try using a plugin, we recommend you WP Super Cache. Usually the server sides caching options are not refreshing as fast as a plugin would and therefore you can face issues like this one.
