Can I add a image in the theme?

I’ve just checked again the image on Newsmag and on the last version Newsmag 4.9.1 -> http://prntscr.com/pxcj15 and both shortcode for image appear -> http://prntscr.com/pxcjay please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins and check again.
Also you’ll need to set only one image and the placeholders will disappear -> http://prntscr.com/pxck6x

Please deactivate the WPBakery plugin and try again, is possible to be some conflict that with this plugin for this error, also make sure that the page that you are editing was build only with tagDiv Composer.

If you mean the theme elements language, there are translation options in the theme panel
– https://prnt.sc/pzfcze
There you can load a translation and customize it if needed. If you have more questions let us know.
