the backend editor will not allow me to add elements (sliders,grids, etc.) when trying to edit my pages. i’m a novice, please forgive me.

Please make sure that you’re using last theme version available on themeforest, V 3.0 and also check if Visual Composer it’s update at V 4.11.2 which is included in theme’s path.
