I got the newspaper theme yesterday and I m loving it so far. I spent a little bit of time today customizing my site and tweaking parts of the demo to my liking. I decided to get rid of the video playlist and noticed that the row that contained it cannot be deleted, so I m stuck with a dark brown bar towards the bottom of my homepage (www.playanthem.de). I also noticed that everything below that bar could not be changed with the tagdiv composer which I find pretty strange. Would love to get some help and feedback on that one.

In order to delete a row you will have to use the tagDiv Composer, click on the row button and drag it to detele option: https://www.screencast.com/t/6jdj765yz
I can’t seem to find the bar you are mentioning, can you be a bit more specific ? or attach a screenshot so I can indentify your issue ?

Hey Vlad,
I didn’t notice the Delete Button on the lower right, probably because I was trying to do changes on my tablet. Well, the problem with the black bar has been taken care of. However, I still cannot change anything at the bottom of the page.
When I hover over other elements on the page with my mouse, I do get this hover color change effect, not so much with the other elements towards the bottom of the page. I don’t know hwy

I pressume you mean the part wich includes the latest articles section. That one comes from the page building so you will have to edit the page in order to have that removed so you can edit it using the composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/uzXRgXTiHlH Also the sidebar from the bottom of the page comes from the widget section wich can be edited by going to Appearance – Widgets

Thanx Vlad. I did manage to get rid of that big junk :-). Didn’t know about this additional template function.
However, I don’t seem to get a handle on that footer and widget bar.
I m trying to figure out where exactly I need to go or what I need to do to customize the highlighted part.

Unfortunately you cannot do any changes on that footer information. You can either change the footer style from Theme Panel – Footer or you can add a footer template from the cloud library and then edit it. Find out more about the footer templates here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Oh ok, good to know. Managed to get my own little footer template up and running. The only problem I got left is that it spans across the entire page and I would really love to have it constrained in the box in the middle so it fits the overall theme
As you can see on the screenshot above the theme itself does have a boxed layout that is centered, however the new footer template spans across the screen.
