Can't see translated cloud library template in per category settings

Hello 🙂

We are using the Newspaper theme along with compatible WPML plugin for translation.

We created a category template using cloud library in our primary language and assigned it to the category in the theme settings easily by going to per category settings and assigning the template in the Cloud library dropdown where we could see all the templates that had been created.

We also created a translation of the cloud template but when we go to the theme settings for the 2nd language we cannot find any templates in the drop down list 🙁

Hello Calin

It says that Newspaper is compatible with WPML which is the reason why we used the theme in the first place. I think it would make sense to let buyers know that this is the case because otherwise it is dishonesty 🙁

Is there any timeline when this would be done?

Thanks a lot for your reply. I understand that the cloud library is a new feature and is not yet compatible with the WPML plugin.

May I please ask my question in a different way?

We have to create custom category pages other than the existing templates that are available. We did that using the cloud library but since they cannot be translated properly we cannot do that.

Is it possible to create a custom category page using the tagdiv composer? Or could we install visual builder and use that to edit the category in the edit category section?

We really need to translate the categories with or without using the cloud library?

Could you please suggest a work around so that I may just edit the category template for the translation, even if that has to be coded manually?

Thanks for this. I really wish that the theme becomes fully compatible with WPML as the way it is I would say that it is not and this has caused a huge issue with our development. I have also gotten in touch with the WPML team on this.
