Why Categories on menu do not slide for more option, and why the categories when clicked points towards sample page ?
I am not able to get preview images on my home page as well as other related article columns, I can see images only on actual posts.
Got the slide option(without image preview) but still the category is pointing towards sample page, The category page is only visible at mydomain.com/category/health instead of mydomain.com/health
How do i stop pages like About us, privacy, contact from appearing on home page predefined blocks or other article blocks ?

If you done this properly and you still have issues, please disable all your plugins except Visual Composer, clear cache and check again.
2. Some plugins may conflict with the theme lazy load effect, so you could try to disable this feature – http://screencast.com/t/x2yxTw1cbj or check this without plugins.
3. Not exactly sure what you mean the url for category page must be mydomain.com/category/health

Other things are under control, but image preview is still the problem, no images in the home page, blocks or dropdown menu, BTW can i make a dropdown menu of only texts naming sub categories as in other websites

For the image preview on the main page you need to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check to see if the images show. If not, please provide a link to your website so we can take a look.
