Category global settings not work in the home

I have a problem with homesite the demo SayWhat?

Newspaper – Theme panel / Categories / Category global settings:

After setting the “category global settings”, my homepage is not responding to the global options.
I do not have the option for homesite below “Per category settings”

How can I edit a homesite

The homepage can be customized using Visual Composer page-builder. I installed the demo SAY WHAT?
and i have Grid 4 on my Home side with I CATEGORY POSTS TOP STYLE

and I want to have Grid 7

My all category have to grig 7 (with global settings to category), but my home page have not.

i change with shortcode [td_block_big_grid_4 category_id=””] on grid 7, its ok, but

I editing page “home” and i heve only shortcodes with text page and BACKEND & CLASSIC EDITOR with button Visual Composer. My visual composer does not work:

i cant edit site with Visual Composer

i haven’t this option

I know other ways to edit a page using visual composer
and some got lost in your script
