I was wondering if it was possible to alter the look of a category page? I have created categories for a new section our newspaper is running in the paper and it would work better functionality wise to have it as a category rather than a page. At the moment the specific category page looks like this: http://www.sheppadviser.com.au/category/your-town-your-news/euroa/ and I was wanting it to look like this: http://www.sheppadviser.com.au/latest-news/ is there a way to do this? The functionality of the category page is fine as it is pulling the right stories from that category, just want it to look like the other pages on the site.

You can use some category template from TagDiv Cloud Library

With tagDiv Cloud Library you have more control over the website layout ( you can customize your templates, ore even to create new ones )
After that just set in theme panel the template from cloud library

Hi. Thank you but this is not what I was looking for. I just created pages for each of the categories I was going to use instead. However, Is there a way to turn off the categories names on the posts being clickable. The category name over the image on this page for example: http://www.sheppadviser.com.au/your-town-your-news/euroa/ I would like it not to be clickable but still change colour.

You can do that only make changes in theme files.
