Also… I seems like there is 2-4px more margin or padding on the left.
Can what images are loaded in the top post be controlled? I can’t find anything about it in the documentation. Thanks!

It can be a bit confusing at first with modules and blocks but here is a simple explanation.
The MODULE is the base element. A block is simply a container for one or more modules depending on the design. So a block can have multiple image sizes. You can see a list of the modules used on every block here: http://screencast.com/t/fr9FyCbdehG
2) As for the featured image:

3) I’m not sure what padding you are referring to.
