Hey guys, how do I set it up so certain ads only appear on certain categories and certain posts? For example, I want ad 1 to display on ‘Funny’ category/posts but not on ‘Hot’ category/posts. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

AFAIK, you can’t do it just yet. The feature isn’t available on the theme. The developers might add it if they think it is important but I guess they won’t cause you’re the first person to request it.

Thanks

Anything seems to be possible with tagDiv team. Let’s see if they have a solution 🙂

Hi,

Thanks @mehedi!

@sbo

You can use a plugin like Advanced Custom Fields and use the following method or similar way like shown here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/function-to-hide-ads-and-function-to-show-author/#post-8993

Or you can create a condition into the category page template and based on category ID you can chose to display certain ads, you can hire a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ to do it for you if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Hope this helps!

Thanks

@Lucian,

@mehedi
, So I found a good solution for this…

Go into Theme Panel > Categories > Custom Sidebar + Position and create a new sidebar in the dropdown. So you can set what ever you want inside that sidebar widget and set whatever category you want to use with that new widget.

Custom Sidebar + Position is not saving fully. I have over 50 categories and it seems to only save a few even after several times of trying and testing. Please advise.

If it matters, its the lower half of all of my categories and mostly when the ‘Show Featured Slider’ is enabled.

Hi,

Firstly please make sure that your sidebar’s name dose not contain characters like apostrophe or quotes this may cause this.
Using over 50 sidebars it’s an exceptional case and we can’t figure out why it’s not working for you, if you want you can give us wp-access so we can take a look at this, send an e-mail at contact@tagdiv.com with your user and pass and also send an URL to this topic or specify this issue in detail.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
