i want to change the header add to 970px x 250 px
its bigger than the max size availble now.
can you explain how i can adjust it.

Hello,
The header ad size depends on the header style that you use. Some headers will not be able to show a size bigger than 728 px while others can show it in it’s full width of the content.
Please choose a header style where the ad is not positioned on the same row with the logo:
