I want to change the background color on the entire site (pages, posts) to black. My site is full width and I read that changing the background color will cause it to be smaller. Well it did make it smaller when I changed the background color, but clearing the color and saving again will still leave the color to black. Which is great…
But For posts I can’t seem to change both the background and content color to black. Would I need CSS for that?

When applying a background color or image your content will get boxed.
In posts you can achieve that by applying a single post template from the cloud library, edit the row background to black as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0VJOZi5S
