I would like to change the color or the image of the sidebar headings.
example: CATEGORIES, STAY CONNECTED, ETC.
Right now they are Orange and I want them to be the same color/image as the Read More.
I believe they are images and the words are white on top. How do I replace the Orange Image?
I did save a copy of the image used for the Read More so I can use that one.
Also want to change the number of comment box (little tiny one on posts) it is also orange and I want #ff7a5d.
Hello,
Indeed the craft ides demo uses images for the headers. You can simply edit this image in your favorite image editor and change it’s color: https://www.screencast.com/t/mTgjHixOWQ
You can use the free ‘gimp’ photo editor and simply change the hue for the image: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaI8IWhWQhk
Thanks
Once I change the color of the file, how do I get it into wordpress without uploading the whole template again?
I changed the name of the site as well it is now https://lifestartsathome.com (formerly comfycozyhome)
The file path you showed me is in a zipped file and I cannot change it because it says I don’t have rights to it.
I tried unzipping it and replacing it but it did not work that way.
1) How does the site know where to get the images from? I have the downloaded zip file on different computers I use?
2) Where/how do I put the new colored images so that the site will change them?

Hi,
1)For a correct theme installing, please check the following documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
2)I do not know exactly what you mean. What kind of colored images did you refer to?
Provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
If you read the post you will see that Bogdan told me to change the colors on the images used in the Craft theme and replace them in the file path:

You simply replace the file in the path I showed you. You do not have to re-upload or change anything else. The image will be grabbed from that file so you only need to replace the image file.
I made the yellow swatches used in the theme to my colors, and I tried to replace them in the file path but I could not because the files are originally zipped and I don’t have admin rights to them. So Again, how do I change the colors of the swatches used in the sidebar from yellow to my color????
Hi,
Please notice that you cannot change the color of your image with another color, sorry! -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5Dag7hmsml
For more information about this case, please check the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-background-image-of-related-articles-andor-more-of-this-author/
Thanks for the message!
I would like you to please consider adding this feature to change the colors of the swatches.
When trying to brand a blog or website, obviously, color is very important.
Also, for many months now I’ve been led down a very wrong path.
As was the guy in the post you referred me to.
Would be helpful if you were all consistent in your replies.
One last question. I paid for support. Is this the support I paid for? this forum?
Thank you
Hi,
Yes, all the support is here, on this forum and also, if it needed to be made some deeper investigations through your admin panel, you have to send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) for more further investigations.
Thanks.
