How can I change the sidebar width from 1/3 + 2/3 (assuming it is on the left), to 1/4 + 3/4
I know I can do this inside each page. I know I can make a template out of a page and use it. But my question here is how to do it site wide not inside visual composer.

Splitting the row results in span sections, these span section have percentage widths depending on the split you make, and full available width (theme has fixed default width)

If you should decide to modify these values, there could be layout and design issues with the content in the pages and posts. You could experiment if you want to modify the default values. Best way would be with the browser inspector tool before making actual modification in the theme stylesheet

I wish there was a way to change this to a 3/4 + 1/4 ratio as a standard option for posts. For some site types where the sidebar is not so important, like on blogs, this would be better I think. I did a test where I made a page with this ratio and compared to the 2/3 + 1/3 standard ratio on all post templates. It looks much better I think. Could you make a post template with 3/4 + 1/4?

@havardkrislok You can design post templates as you wish now, with the introduction of the Cloud library plugin the tagDiv composer can now be used to design post templates
