Changing comments colour

Hi,
I’ve got Newspaper 11.4.1 and http://www.motopol.be is my first creation with it. I’m quite please with the result, but I would like to change the color of the caption and the comments. I don’t know how the theme developers could have missed it, but the dark grey is almost black, and thus impossible to read. There is a topic about changing the comments color with tagdiv composer using a single post template. But I can’t make it work. I change the color, I click on save, but if I check it the color is still dark grey. So what am I missing? Can you help me? Thank you very much for your advice. Paul

I’ve found some css to change the colour of the captions. (see: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-code-requirement/#post-432621)
Perhaps there is some comparable code to change the colour of the comments?

Hello,

You can change the caption colour with tagDiv Composer, select the Single Post Featured Image and in the tab “Style” you can change the colour -> https://i.imgur.com/nZKy0Dp.jpg also, inside the Single Post Content -> https://i.imgur.com/LX5yWKx.png
Also, to change the colours for Single Post Comments -> https://i.imgur.com/ZkK9NOn.png, but please make sure the settings that you do are saved.
Please check the console when you try to save the changes made with tagDiv Composer maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria!
Thanks for taking your time to help me out. Though the Newspaper theme is quite intuitive and very powerful it sometimes freaks me out when I can’t find the correct working order. 🙂
Like today, staring at the Single Post Comment options under General, it took me more then two hours to discover that it’s possible to scroll down!!!! As there is no scrollbar it’s just impossible to see this. But I said to myself “If Anamaria says the option is present, then it must be there!”, so I kept searching. And that’s where I finally found the option “input text colour”.
(And I had no saving issues anymore.)
Thanksk, and have a nice day!
Paul
