How do I change from one prebuilt theme to another whilst retaining existing content and does it require manual intervention after the change to get the website with the new prebuilt theme just right? Also if you don’t like the new prebuilt theme can you switch back to the old?
Hello!
You can install any demo you want without its content, just the design, so you won’t loose anything. But, you need to adjust the demo to fit your content into it, like some settings on blocks, etc.
I recommend you to make a full backup before, so you can switch back very simple without loosing anything.

Thank you Bettina. Do I need to uninstall my current theme design Animal News or do I just install the new pre built design over the top of it?
Hi findlay, is no need to uninstall it, this will be automatically uninstalled when you install the new pre-build websites. Also please notice that the current design with all pages posts and templates will be removed, so in case that you made some changes those will be lost.
