Compatibility issues with update

Hello,

We are trying to update our newspaper theme from version 7.7 to version 8.1.

Now we have rolled back to the 7.7 version, but we would like to update it.

The problem which occured is that all the articles has been crashed and as I see the html divs crashing also.

Could you help us?

Hi,

In Newspaper 8 the tagDiv composer was introduced
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
This plugin is activated automatically when the theme is installed or updated to this version. In some cases having both Visual composer and tagDiv composer active, can create layout issues. Please try to deactivate this composer after making the update

Also if you have a child theme try switching to the main theme, as the code used in the child theme might need adjustments.
