Hello. The composer plug-in we’re using in several sites, is getting deactivated periodically by itself, causing the layout configured for the homepage to break. Manually activating it again solves the problem, only for it to happen again a few days later. This is happening in several sites, hosted in different servers from different providers, with not matching configurations, using different versions of WordPress, using different plugins, including the latest. It’s very annoying. And it’s worrying the plug-in seems to be abandoned as no updates were realeased for it in a long time.
I’ve read the reply at https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/when-tagdiv-composer-deactivates/ and honestly, this is not a rare occurrence. This issue happens a lot.
Updating the theme to the latest version is not an option for us for some time, because we’re using your theme modified for some cosmetic reasons and updating it would overwrite all those changes. For a number of reasons out of the scope of this post, we couldn’t use a child theme for those modifications.
So, my question is: any chance you could have a look at the composer plug-in and find out why it gets deactivated randomly and debug that problem? After paying (several times, for several sites) for this otherwise great theme, I think that even if maintenance of this plugin is not planned anymore, at least you could maybe research this issue, that I’m sure is bother many of your long time users.
Thanks.
Hi,
Do you use the litespeed cache plugin? If yes, then please do a test without this plugin to see if the problem is still happening. For a few users the problem was with some settings from this plugin, once that the did the test without it, the tagdiv composer was no longer disabled.
Also, if you want you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com, provide wp-admin access to one of the website where the problem is happening and we’ll try to see what can be interfering.
Thank you!
Hi Calin, thanks for your answer.
I’m not using Litespeed. But, in case it’s of help, did any of these plugins I’m using issues with TagDiv Composer in the past?

As far as I know there should be no problems, but I do not know all those plugins, my recommendation is to do a test using only the theme and tested plugins and see if the problem persists -> https://i.imgur.com/Sqnvx90.png
The plug in Yoast was updated one week ago, and i discover this morning my web site broken… since when i don’t know, one week ? (Yoast is the more recent updated plug in out of the three above)
and it seems there is such an incompatibility pb with tag div composer
read this
i’m not sure it’s the solution, maybe it has nothing to do with our pb
Hi,
From what I know the Classic Editor, GDPR Cookie Consent, Yoast SEO plugins are working with our theme. I just did some tests with theme and for me it is ok.
Maybe the server was overloaded and the host disabled the plugin? There were a few situation on share servers.
Thank you!
Has this issue ever been resolved? I’m having the same problem where the plugins deactivated themselves practically every single day. Upgrading to V12 absolutely destroyed my customer’s site to where I would have had to rebuild it completely from scratch – no thanks. I rolled back to V9 where I had a backup and now still have the plugin issue.
Hi SR20DETg20girl, I just reply to you in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-deactivates-every-few-days/#post-499741
Thank you!
