Hi, we have set the Left hand content block on this page – https://firstcardev.wpengine.com/buying/ to sort posts ‘random posts’, however this isn’t working and it’s mirroring the content block at the top of the page, which is set to ‘most popular’. We have plenty of posts in that category and other pages seem to work fine.
Hello!
First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let us know about your results!
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
We’re a little concerned doing this so close to launch of our new site (Tomorrow AM). If I change the category to another we’ve created then the posts randomise, it’s just this one category we have that seems broken. Would there be any settings in the category that might impact this? We have 7 categories and 6 are fine. I can add a content block for the others and it behaves as expected when changing the filter options, but if I select ‘Buying’ it doesn’t work at all (just always shows the latest I believe).
Thanks
Richard
