That can happen if you’re using a cloud template header. You can edit that from the website manager as you can see here:https://www.screencast.com/t/hTbonjP3Gg82 After selecting the footer you will have to scroll to the bottom and you will see it.

Yes, you can use the envato plugin to update the theme (some times is take a time untel is detect the last version of the theme), or you can download it from themeforest.
