I am pretty new to WordPress and the Newspaper theme, so please show mercy 🙂
Despite all the tutorials I watched, I cannot figure out the following: How can I create an Opt-In Form for my newsletter above the main menu? I want to create a big banner that included my logo, a picture and the possibility to opt in.
Does anybody have any ideas? Can I do it within the theme or do I need another plug-in? If so, which one would you recommend for this (that is compatible)?

Sorry, but I do not quite understand what you want to achieve, if you are using the newsletter element from tagDiv Composer, then you can not add any option to it. Unfortunately the newsletter will provide only the email field and subscribe button, if you want to have more fields, then you can set the code for mailchimp in appearance> widgets> in a text element -> https://i.imgur.com/SCYJLz0.png or using tagDiv Composer in a column text in text area -> https://i.imgur.com/nzkfTu6.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mdPpuaM.png
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details and some screenshots if it is possible.
