custom post types in sidebar

Hi,

I am using the “[tagDiv] Block 8” widget to display a custome post type (latest podcasts).
The widget works fine on pages [1], posts [2] and an the front page [3] of the blog.

On category pages [4] the widget does not work and shows latest items added to the database without regard to the post type.

What went wrong?

Hello Philcomputing,

Please ensure that you have correctly set it your sidebar for your Category page in order to achieve the same result as on your normal page and post. For more information about category sidebar, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Thanks Caralin,

the issues is caused by the “Podlove Podcast Publisher” plugin.
I am going to get in contact with the developers to fix it.

I’ll keep you updated.
