Hello, how best for me to diagnose a problem with the date on my site? It does not reflect the current day/date. Is there a particular widget that controls this element? I’ve tried going into the Theme Panel/Header/Top Bar/Show Date toggling on/off but that doesn’t seem to do anything. Should I have javascript date enabled? It’s not currently. The date refresh correctly was working fine until last week.

Hi snovosel, if you are using the Newsmag theme, the options to edit the date format can be found here -> https://i.imgur.com/6m6qNHL.png if you are using cache plugin, enable the option for JavaScript date to not cache the date (also it can by use the general option from WordPress -> https://i.imgur.com/C5PR1XV.png).

I made a mistake. I am using Newspaper, not Newsmag. Does that change your advice?
Either way, it’s unclear how your suggestions would resolve my issue. I don’t have a problem displaying the date (in any format). My issue is getting the current correct date to display on any device.
So, for example, today (U.S.) is Monday, March 22 and yet http://www.touchlesstech.com displays “Friday, March 19, 2021”. FYI, all local cache has been cleared on all tested devices.

If you are using the cache plugins, then you need to have the option for cache date enable -> https://i.imgur.com/P6ihSlS.png then it should display the correct date, but this also can differed from cache plugin to cache plugin, for example with WP Super Cache is working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
