As far as I know deactivating the tagDiv Standard Pack will result in a faster website but you will have to rebuild your site with the new backend composer… I am in the middle of the change from the old newspaper 9.x to newspaper 10 and I have face a couple of errors/problems:
1 and 2- I cannot rebuilt header and footer unless I deactivated from the theme panel and rebuld it in the tagDiv composer. am I right?
3- If i deactivate the tagDiv Standard Pack my single post are getting an error eversince and I dunno how to solve this
hopefully you can help me with this that will make my site faster
Ok, autosolved!! nothing like a couple of hours and test test test… I wasn’t easy ´cause the documentation mixes newspaper 8, 9 and 10.
another question is if I have to delete all the old pages created or not

You don’t have to delete the pages only if you want to. But please make sure that you delete the pages that you don’t use.

Thanks Vlad for the answer BUT do you guys have any video to see all the process?? as I told you before I am having some issues and always have to install a backup to make the site work… probably because any dependency’s i can figure out where are they etc… probably a video showing the process will help a lot of people

You can check the site (www.howpple.com) now. I have rebuild everything back again and deactivate the Standard pack plugin and I have not seen any speed improve or request reduction. Also you can get a blank screen while visiting the first post (https://howpple.com/fundas-con-cordon-para-iphone/) from a mobile device, etc…

Are you sure that you are using Newspaper Theme ? After inspecting your website nothing from your css lets us know that you’re using Newspaper Theme.

I am using your theme on my site, maybe you checked when i was doing some test. So if you please can double check new will be great.
I built the website from a scratch but i am having a lot of issues with the CPU consumption and processes… as far as i know could be probably because of the visual composer?? If you could help me out with that i would be awesome!!

We have investigate your website and as you can see you can improve your page speed using a cloudflare, minfying the javascript ( I would suggest Fast Velocity Minify ) is not tested with newspaper theme but We have seen that a lot of users use it and it provides better results.

The real problem is not the speed which you can see is good enough checking in GTmetrix from my closest location. The problem that I have is since I tried to deactivate the TagDiv Standard Pack my CPU olverloads and make my site slower overall when I access the admin and try to upload an image or even install a newspaper cloud template. I don’t really know if the theme had any problem with the accumulated css or js but it doesn’t happen with other themes I have tested.
¿Do you think a clean installation will work? if so what would be the steps? Change theme > Delete > Clean Cache > Install and customize? I am afraid I delete the theme and conserve all the old data from other version and doesn’t let me install it again (remember a simple image is collapsing the server)
