Dear friend, I have been using the main theme for over 2 years. Now please tell the easier way to create a child theme where I can move the main theme site or create a new one?

In order to create a child theme you need to create a a folder or copy the one from theme package https://www.screencast.com/t/P5vA5wm8I and follow the structure from the child-theme-support-tutorial.

I have an existing site on the default theme. After I upload the child theme folder to create a site with this ,what will happened to the main theme/default theme website? Will it be as fresh as before or the content will be there too?

Hi,
The difference is that the settings from theme will be replace by child theme, in this way you can make theme update without have worries with rewrite the changes in theme ( the theme files will be clean ).
