I can’t seem to override or remove the default footer blocks by adding my own blocks in Widgets>Footer 1/2/3

Hello !
That section comes from the footer layout and cannot be edited. You can use an Cloud Library footer and edit it using the tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
