Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the demos again. If the problem is still there, try to reinstall the theme via ftp and make sure you copy over all files:

Hello,
The header area dn the footer will go into boxed mode if a background image or color is set. If you want them to be full width, you need to remove the background.
