I use a plugin called The Events Calendar Pro. This plugin allows the user to create a number of categories. I would like to display these categories on my home page in a TD Composer grid or block. However the ‘Category filter:’ selector does not offer these categories in the drop-down menu. I tried to use the category taxonomy to select these categories by ‘Post Type:’ and ‘Multiple categories filter:’ but every attempt failed.
Here are the custom post types:
Events: tribe_events
Venues: tribe_venue
Organizers: tribe_organizer
Event Categories: tribe_events_cat
I need to know how to configure the Newspaper template to display the posts in each of the categories.
Thank You!
Hi,
Unfortunately, you cannot filter your Custom Post Type because you need to create your custom taxonomy order in that case, sorry! It’s not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Also, a more useful guide can be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Thanks for oyur understanding!
This is a big problem for years, Newspaper does not know the events calendar and vice versa, despite both saying they are the biggest in its category. It would be a logical decision to connect to each other and solve some support questions. Until that I have no good solution, I am using cool plugins addons for displaying events on the front page, but I still fighting with the correct integration … you can see my event integration on fotoklikk.eu
