Hi,
I’m trying to ONLY get the “Don’t Miss” section here as shown here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ to display one category (my news category). Currently, it’s displaying everything, such as world, when I not not chosen the category “World” when I create a post.
Any ideas on how I can get this figured out?
Thank you.
JR
Hello John,
I guess that you are referring to the Don’t Miss block, right? So, please notice that all the settings for our Blocks can be found in Block Settings section for each Visual Composer Block. So, if you want that your block to display only the posts from the certain category you should set it properly from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/2o4GAglgKVp For more information about these settings, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hi Catalin,
Correct, I’m referring to the Don’t Miss block. I do have the setting exactly the same as shown here:
http://screencast.com/t/2o4GAglgKVp
My category id is 29, however as I mentioned, it’s picking up every article that is posted.
I just noticed that in categories, the “NEWS” does not have a checkbox. That may be the issue?
For example, I just posted an article in “WORLD” and it’s showing up in NEWS.
Are there any other settings I should be looking at?
Thanks
JR

Hello John,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins (Visual Composer 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1). Clear all the caches and check again. Please keep in mind that the theme should display all the categories in the Category filter and if you select one of them the posts from that category should be displayed in the block. Provide more details about your problem and also, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.
