I would like to use a dynamic weather plugin/widget where you can specify the location (similar to Google Map/CPT Location Display) based on the location post meta.
Can you recommend such a plugin that works well with the Newspaper theme and that I can use in posts?

No, unfortunately this does not help!
Here I can only set the weather for a selected city.

The selected city is stored in the metadata of the post.
