Dynamically change the link on the main logo, based on the homepage language

Hi,

I’m using Polylang for multilingual settings, but I can’t seem to find a setting to change the link on the logo in the main header, based on the language page (like to make it /en for English, / for default language).

Please advise, what would be the best solution to solve this with the Newspaper theme.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hello!

Unfortunately, we have not tested Polylang plugin, so we can’t say if it will work or not. Also, please note that we don’t offer support for untested plugins.
Check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/

Thank you!

Hi,

OK, then could you please help me with the name of the .php template which hosts the logo / link information, so I can make a direct change there?

Thanks!

Sebastian

Hello!

For cloud templates the file is in td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php

But, please note that any change you make in the files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after update.

Hope that helps you somehow!

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for the info. And if I’m using the default template, which is the template file I could update?

Thanks,
Sebastian

Hello @Sebastian!

It depends on which template you use.
All you can find in td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header.

Thank you!
