‘Edit Post’ shows blank screen when opened?

I get a blank screen on all posts when I try to update them when clicking ‘edit post’. Everything else in the template is working well. I deactivated all plugins I updated this week but have not solved the problem Any ideas what I should do?

Just one question when checking my PHP I saw my host memory limit is set at 40MB but you recommend 250MB! Please can you advise what/if any problems this may cause?
