1. in TD composer, How can I simply change the number of columns of an element like element: block 16.
Personally, I prefer the visual composer, is it available for me to use with Newspaper, it does ask for a subscription?

1. You can split the row in a maximum of three columns, just like with the Visual composer

Then you can place the elements you want in these columns. Please note that depending on the row settings, blocks may look different. Here you can see how blocks look in all situations

There is no activation or subscription needed if you choose to use Visual composer. Just install it and use it
