Envato Market Theme Update Problem

Hello,

I installed the Envato Market plug-in and although it told me version 4.5 of the theme is available, upon attempting to update it, it told me the update was not successful as I had the most up-to-date one, which is not true because I still have version 4.4.

What is going on?!

On a 2nd attempt I got this:

Unsuccessful installation due to error while copying file: Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/wp-admin/css/wp_panels/admin-popup.less

On a 3rd attempt says this package cannot be installed: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

What is going on???

Basically that plugin does not always work.
Best to install via FTP, or download main theme zip and install via the WP admin panel.

Is the problem on their end on TagDiv’s end?

Hello,

Unfortunately, please notice that we do not recommend to update the theme via Envato Tool Kit because it seems to be more problematic which causes some issues. Try to update the theme via FTP because this is the surest method in this case. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
