Got this error 5 minutes after i update to latest version (fortunally on a staging site).
Un errore di E_COMPILE_ERROR è stato causato nella linea 1358 del file /var/www/vhosts/ilreporter.it/staging.ilreporter.it/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_functions.php. Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again

After 3 years and two website done with this theme, i’m here at asking help to every update, i think you asked me to check the requirments at least 34 times. It’s always something not compatible so why i’m so silly at ask.
BTW everything fixed after i activate and deactivate all that is a really tech stuff.

I am sorry for the bad experience with our theme updates, we try to make it better and more easy to done, but as you said for the moment there are still some parts that are not compatible for everyone, sorry for the inconvenience.

my intention was not to be rude, the main problem is that things are moving really fast on wordpress and everytime i try to implement something new on Newspaper (like Fb Instant Articles, or an Androind App, or simple modify the Schema) it’s a pain cause it’s not compatible with your theme. I’m still ok with the structure and the features you are offering that are quiet unique in the wordpress NEWS Template section, but it will be nice by you to start thinking on a much stable compatibility with what happen outside TagDiv.
We are currently developing another website with your theme so it confirm that we found it good enough to invest other money on it, but we will love to have the possibility to work on create NEWS instead of doing a continous troubleshooting.
