Hi
I am receiving the below error message when attempting to upload the sports demo. I am very much a newbie so its very possible I’m doing something wrong
Ajax error. Cannot connect to server, it may be due to a misconfiguration on the server.

Hello,
Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.
Also make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you still cannot install the demo, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Please also provide a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Thanks for your response.I think the problem is with the php.ini settings.
My host provider 123 Reg have confirmed that I cannot increase the max_execution_time over 30 seconds as this is the default value set for the whole shared hosting platform. Does this mean i can never use the demo’s properly.
I can upload images under 2mb as this is what the max is set to.
I also cannot see any images on my website that have been uploaded. I made a intro demo post and also uploaded a lgo but the images dont show. Could this have anything to do with the above? I looked in the forum and it may be to do with plugins, but the only active plugins I have are BBpress, Revolution Slider & WPBakery Visual Composer.

Hello,
I see you managed to install the demo and the images display as expected at the moment. The logo does not display because it cannot be found in the specified path.
Technically you can use the theme even without those parameters but you will have limitations though. You will not be able to use larger images and maybe you will have difficulties when using lots of complex elements.
Please let us know if you still require assistance.
Thank you!
