Hi there,
I’ve got:
WP version – 5.8.1 – was updated automatically.
Newspaper – Theme: 11.2
After WP update in the section Appearance – Widgets – I’ve got such errors:
———-
The “calendar” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.
The “search” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.
The “meta” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.
The “nav_menu” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.

Could you explain, what’s wrong?
Is it because of new WP version update?

Also, I tried to reach Footer Template page – it’s not editable with TagDiv editor

Does it mean, that WordPress 5.8.1 is not compatible with Newspaper Theme?
or what am I doing wrong?
I also have a similar problem, as from 2pm of today, suddenly, the theme stopped working, after upgrade to wordpress 5.8.1 and, even if restoring to a previous backup, nothing changed. it seems that saved configuration of all theme features was lost. All custom js for analytics, all ads, all lost! The theme suddenly went into “unregistered” state, after inserting the activation code and successfully reactivated the theme, nothing changed.
My WordPress site ver 5.8.1 with Template 11.2 is working, but I can’t edit Widgets = error:
The “tag_cloud” block was affected by errors and may not function properly.

May by because of Cache. I’m not sure to refresh the Cache after that š
My site is on WordPress version 5.8 and NewsPaper 10.4.
I get the same set of errors when I go into Widgets. Screenshot of errors with console log attached.

Haven’t seen this before. What’s causing this?
Guys, sorry for writing here but anyone can help me with other subject? Can’t fixed. I have got Interpreter PHP 8 – should I change for lowest one? While installing theme there is an error – missing a temporary folder. Tried code in wp_config, adding new folder – temp. Nothing… Anyone can help me please?
Hi,
I have the Newspaper v11.2 with WordPress v5.81 and for me the problem do not appears -> https://i.imgur.com/QCS89RH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/XQB8iSa.png maybe it is from a low php version, or for some extra plugins. Also if you want you can make a test by disabling and deleting all tagDiv plugins and reinstall them from Newspaper > plugins.
Also I fount on internet more similar topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/403-forbidden-error-on-widgets/ so it also can be a change in the widget section from WordPress.
Hi ceomatglobe, using php 8 should be fine, also can you provide a print screen with the exact error you have (if is possible the text to be in English). https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Thank you!
I’ve installed Classic Widgets Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/
It solved well for me.
