EWWW Image Optimizations doesn’t let the Modal window (Lightbox effect) work

These EWWW Image Optimizer recommendations are good https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ but interfere with the general modal image option (https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/).

Both JS WebP Rewriting and Lazy Load cause the same effect: the posts’ image links lose the “td-modal-image” class.

It also happens when other plugins enable LazyLoad for the images.

Hi,
Please exclude those classes in ewww image optimizer and cache plugin
td-modal-image
wp-image-

This should resolve the problem.

Hi Calin,
That doesn’t work because the “td-modal-image” class is not even being applied to the images.
However, only the images on the classic element of Gutenberg’ on posts that use the new editor continue to work well.
I have to enable manually “Set Modal Image to ON” on posts with the classic editor.

Hi,
Normally the option https://i.imgur.com/2ygonOI.png should apply on all images set with classic or Gutenberg editor, as long dos do not have manually set the modal off per image.
