I installed Newspaper theme and added Exchange plugin.
On my site it doesnt work: there is an error: Exchange API error: Api call failed
How can I fix it ?

Don’t forget to make a backup of your current file so you can revert in case that something goes wrong.

I wonder there is not td_exchange.php file I could find in includes/wp_booster folder.
FYI, I am using latest version just downloaded 2 days back.

Well that means something went wrong when updating. Please download your theme again from envato and use this method to install the theme properly. (delete your current theme files): https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

If you are trying to find the file in the dashboard editor, you will not be able to. You need to use FTP. (we use filezilla but you most likely have a ftp manager in the c-panel)

I have downloaded and uploaded via FTP once again. I got all the files including missing one. However, I stuck with another issue. During deleting and uploading new files, I realized my custom login page (created with shortcode from admin area) is blank now. But most likely nothing to do with your theme but with something else.
I will modify code as per your guidance and get back to you with the result.
