Facebook Likes Not Updating

We’ve noticed that the Facebook likes for our tagDiv Social Counter has stopped updating.

You can see the count at 1,547 likes on our homepage: http://snowmads.com

But the actual count is 1,671 at the time of this post: https://www.facebook.com/snowmads

Any idea why Facebook wouldn’t be updating? The others seem to be up-to-date and changing.

Hi,

I noticed that you use an old version of Newspaper 3.3 so you may have issues like that. I suggest to update to the latest version 6.2.1 and also the plugins that come with the theme files as we cannot help you with that old version of theme and also the theme plugins. For example if the facebook change the api we also will do the necessarily modifications for Social Counter in the new plugin version so it will work fine. Please note that if you want to update to the version 6 this must be regarded as a major update, practically a new theme with many features as you can see in our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ but unfortunately all your custom modifications(files or css) will not work anymore and you will need to re-add them.
