Pretty sure I have the social counter set up properly, but it doesn’t show the number of Facebook likes (FB page has 4348 likes). All other social media links seems to be fine.

If you are having problems receiving the Facebook token please read this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/problem-with-facebook-social-counter/ and use the social counter plugin provided there and also the additional steps.
Also please note that some delay is possible for the data to synchronize, you could try to configure the social counter, clear any caching installed and just give it a little more time.

Hi Simian, I’ve been working with Bogdan on the same issue at DineDrinkBellingham.com, although he has had no luck. I’ve also configured it a few times, and sent screenshots but still have no counter. I’ve also opened a ticket via email but have not heard back, this seems to be a chronic problem as there are at least four or five threads regarding this issue. I am at marc.ravaris@outlook.com. I’d appreciate someone contacting me on this issue.

From what I can tell after inspecting your website, it seems that everything is working properly with the social counter – https://www.screencast.com/t/oB8pm1no so I am assuming that this is not a problem anymore.

Yes, this is now resolved.
The problem was my facebook url is a mixture of letters and numbers, like this “abcdef-123456” I had to ignore the letters and just enter 123456 as the facebook id and it worked fine.
I am also having the same issue on my site here -> http://www.ventureafrica.co/
I have cleared and flushed all the browser and site caches, and have the correct plugin, and the token is populating.
Is it just that I need to wait longer?
